‘TOO MUCH’ an Exhibition at Rainbow Studios, Darlinghurst, Sydney
A collaboration between Natasha Burbury and Billie Baker, alongside Burbury Wholefoods.
This exhibition celebrates excess of feeling, of appetite, of presence. It is a sensuous exploration of being too much and revelling in it. Inspired by Eyvan Whitney’s poem Too Much Woman, the works embody a radical embrace of pleasure, intimacy, and indulgence ó living, loving, and eating as acts of self-possession and freedom.
Through a hedonistic lens, this body of work resists the cultural conditioning that asks us to shrink, restrain, or contain our desires. Each piece becomes a feast ó for the eyes, the body, the spirit ó honouring the fullness of being.
Here, abundance is not shameful but sacred. The works ask: what if the act of wanting ó more colour, more touch, more joy ó is not a flaw, but a form of liberation?
We invite you to indulge your senses ó to savour each colour, each bite, each moment of laughter, and to celebrate the tender, hedonistic art of living fully.
