This body of work focuses on the infinite, cyclical nature of existence juxtaposed with the irony of a capitalist inquiry such as “What do you do for a living?” - a question that seemingly invites a response that is defined by labor and social utility. The work bridges the exoteric with the esoteric. Through an emphatic, process-driven application of colour and the recurring geometry of the circle, these paintings move beyond the transactional world and into the esoteric. My practice is an act of meditative mapping, where each circular form serves as a vessel for the cyclical nature of existence—a visual manifestation of the belief that life is not a linear path toward an end, but an infinite spiral of becoming. By using a saturation of colour through painting and sculpture. I aim to translate internal “thought-forms” into a physical experience, reclaiming the word “living” from the mundane and returning it to the divine.
